About Me

FIONNA INWARD ALLEN is a poet-writer and educator based in Manchester, UK.
For over 25 years she has been creating poetry, fiction, theatre and personal essays from (mostly) inside a 1980s Cadet caravan in the Northwest of England. She won the Yeovil Literary Prize for her poetry in 2007 and is a regular performer on the Manchester poetry circuit.
Currently looking for a publisher for her first poetry collection, much of her best work cannot be found on this website due to copyright reasons. You can subscribe to her monthly newsletter to receive her latest submissions of poetry and and short fiction.
